Ingredients:
1 kilo pork’s or beef’s knuckles, cut into chunks 2″ in lengths
1/2 cup of bacon (2″ in legths)
2 sweet potato, quartered
1 bundle of chinese cabbage
4 saba bananas, cut in halves
Salt or patis (fish sauce) to taste
Tomato sauce
Cooking Procedure:
1. Put enough water in a large saucepan to cover the pork’s or beef’s knuckles, then bring to boil.
2. When meat is very tender and stock is saucy in appearance, drop the bacon and simmer.
3. Add tomato sauce and season with fish sauce and pepper according to taste.
4. Add the sweet potatoes and bananas and continue to simmer until the vegetables becomes tender.
5. Drop the cabbage 2 minutes prior to removing from the fire.
6. Serve hot with rice.
