
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs baby octopus
1 cup lemon juice
lemon zest
ground pepper and salt to taste
chili paste
cornstarch
sugar
canola oil, for frying
Cooking Procedure:
1. Remove octopus’ head then clean the tentacles.
2. Then in a bowl, mixed everything then put the octopus and marinate overnight or at least 4 hours.
3. Drain the octopus well and set aside the marinade.
4. Deep fry the octopus.
5. In a saucepan, heat the marinade and put a little bit of cornstarch for a more thicker consistency. Add sugar then let it boil for a minute.
6. Arrange the fried baby octopus in a serving platter with the prepared sauce on a side. Can be served with a rice or an appetizer.
